Supporting Our ASD Kids, Inc. – S.O.A.K.- invites the public to come out and enjoy festivities including music, food, and games as it celebrates the 2nd Annual Get SOAKed for Autism event. Last year, we had more than 1500 individuals attending the event and it was the event of the year!
This fantastic event will be held at the Space Coast Harley Davidson, 1440 Sportsman Lane NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905. This event will be an opportunity for families to enjoy a day of water fun while we raise funds for our projects. 100% of the proceeds from this event will stay right here in Brevard county to support ou...r families touched by autism. As part of the festivities, SOAK will host a 50/50 cash raffle, a silent auction, bounce houses, water slides and more. Entrance to event is free, which includes live music, bounce houses and water games, while food, drinks and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets for raffle and 50/50 tickets are available at the day of the event and in advance by contacting SOAK’s representatives. Something important - you must be present to win or be back by the end of the event to claim your prize.
S.O.A.K. is an organization whose purpose is to help those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related disabilities and their families. S.O.A.K. began as a grass roots support group in September 2011 and in September 2015, became a non-profit organization and obtained the 501c3 status with the IRS. S.O.A.K provides resources and direct support to enable families to connect and assist each other through social support programs; it also furthers the education of families, professionals and members of the community in order to embrace the Autistic population. The organization is comprised of volunteer professionals and parents so it relies heavily on community support to continue its work.
S.O.A.K. believes that individuals with autism are able to develop friendships, become leaders, role models, and learn acceptance and diversity.
